Zelda Equals = #2

I'm almost finished with link to the past, last dungeon- I have to convert my screenshots to the correct format to post on here. But I was shocked at how very "Japanese" it becomes toward the middle. Music has been reminiscent. I feel sort of lame talking about zelda because I'm not a hardcore fan, but I'm not indifferent. Strange but I feel like this is something I should do.

Japan where are the indie?

I'd really like some Japanese dev's to make their own versions of Terraria or Minecraft. Really I just want anything good from Japan... It's been forever since they've released something groundbreaking...

Zelda Equals = #1

I read an article that discussed how Miyamoto arrived at the original concept for the Zelda series. The article described how he arrived at the concept by simply remembering his childhood exploring a forest. Miyamoto wanted to "bottle" the feeling he had doing this, even his childhood perception, which doesn't seem to be an easy task for most game developers.

  With my most recent completed title being minish cap, I have to beg pardon if the newer titles have made shifts.

All parts of every human's life. All part of the triforce; The running theme within the main stand-alone titles. The Tri-force theme is definitely something I want to understand better (without wikipedia). So for my next post I'll go back to my first Zelda title... A link to the past (THE CHILD).

Zelda theory

Over here at this Kotaku Article people are debating the reason enemies and link don't speak. I've never been a huge Zelda fan,(i'll talk about that in a bit.) but I, along with many game devs, respect it as a monument and milestone in game development.

Zelda is an epic, an original classic like The Odyssey. But why? What's so special about Ganondorf, Link, and Zelda? The Triforce? I got theories, I'll be posting them over time, attempting to figure out what Zelda is to myself.

Probably due to the steam summer sale, got almost everything I wanted. Playing Men of War:AS , Team Fortress 2, and Hammerfight right now. Can't even play Warband and Stalker on this shitty rig. urghh.

I earned money for Japan before the earthquake

Really?! I'm not surprised by the faux charities starting up for Japan, just the sheer volume of them in the gaming community. I strongly doubt that if I buy a hat in team fortress or a pet in WOW, that These distraught people get a cent. I understand; the 90's and new millennial  generations love Japanese culture, especially video games! Of course they'll blindly synonomise the two." And to make sure they don't feel guilty lets give them something pseudo-tangible that they can show off." at least that's the impression I get from these ridiculous charities popping up.

Obviously this isn't the first time anyone has thought this, and IF I'm wrong I'm sure I'm not the first. But really is flying to Japan and building homes with my hands really the only way to be sure that my money isn't being siphoned somewhere else?
